Creating a class blog with student contributors

Set up and manage a class blog to provide an authentic audience for student writing. Platform: Edublogs, Kidblog, or a private Blogger site. Process: 1. Setup: Create the blog, establish categories (e.g., book reviews, science reports, creative writing), and teach students how to use the platform. 2. Digital Citizenship: Teach lessons on appropriate online commenting and respecting intellectual property. 3. Writing & Publishing: Students draft posts, receive peer and teacher feedback, revise, and then publish their work on the blog. 4. Audience: Share the blog link with parents and other classes.
